Historical homes are how we began.
One of his first projects in Canada in 2017 was a historical home. That work led to neighbor after neighbor hiring Painters Touch, and Jason spent much of that summer in the same neighborhood. It became a hands-on education in the care older homes require.
That first summer shaped Jason’s approach to painting: learn the home, respect its character, and pay attention to the preparation behind the finished surface. Today, historical house painting remains a priority alongside exterior, interior and cabinet work.

Yes. Painters Touch offers free estimates so the scope, preparation needs, finish goals, and timing can be discussed before work begins.
Do you help with color selection?
Color consultation is free for clients who have accepted a Painters Touch painting estimate. Estimates are free; color consultation is not a standalone service before estimate acceptance.
What areas do you serve?
Serving Spartanburg County, including Boiling Springs, Spartanburg and Inman, plus Five Forks and parts of Greenville County. Our typical service radius is approximately 25 miles from Boiling Springs; call to confirm your address.
Why does old wood need special preparation?
Multiple coating layers, movement, weathering, and gaps can affect adhesion. The preparation plan should respond to the actual condition of the wood.
Can you work on tall or hard-to-reach details?
Painters Touch uses an articulating boom lift where appropriate to reach taller exterior areas safely and efficiently.
Can you help develop a historical color palette?
Yes. Color consultation can coordinate body, trim, accent, shutter, porch, and door colors while keeping the architecture in view. This color consultation is free for clients after they accept their painting estimate.
